10 Things I Want To Say to A BLACK WOMAN
Flo
Sometimes, I see a Black Woman and I just want to scream to her and tell her how much gorgeous and ravishing she looks in her pure natural state. It’s become a common sight to see beautiful Black Women fall for all the media scams in women’s magazines and TVs that having their perfect hair replaced with that of dead Brazilian and Indian women and also having their radiant skin lightened and fairer will attract more men and is the order of the day. Black Women fall for these scams because I feel they are assured of their beauty and status enough and this is what I want to say to all the beautiful Black Women out there both in Africa and the Diaspora:

1) Your smile is so beautiful as especially as it reveals a bright set of teeth. It always reassures me of the brightness of this life.

2) Your hair, natural woolly dark hair, is prettier than all those weaves and ‘Brazilian hair’ you waste money. Your natural hair is a true mark of beauty as it proudly sits on a head so beautiful.

3) You walk with rhythm, a rhythm accompanied with the graceful swinging of your hips which is capable of turning heads.

4) I admire how you have been trampled upon but you never gave up and now you stand tall amongst men making sure your views are heard and that you do not belong in the kitchen but you are capable of what the opposite gender does.

5) Your skin is indeed biologically beautiful. Despite the whips of the past, it’s managed to stay radiating illuminating the beauty inside.

6) You are well-cultured. Your polite manners are the way to your man’s heart.

7) You look good in a bikini. Don’t be shy.

8) You are a true mother. Your love for your children surpasses all and it’s the reason your children grow up not deviating from the morals you truly taught them.

9)  You are a true wife as you stood by your husband during the thick and thin; now he attributes his success to you.

10) Behind every successful man is a woman but BY EVERY SUCCESSFUL MAN IS A BLACK WOMAN.
